SOP - Sales Order Processing

The RTIS approach to sales order processing incorporates specifying, quoting and conversion to a firm order.

The quoting aspect of the software also provides CRM with task prompting and performance measurement of sales personnel and analysis of customer behaviour, in addition to analysis of product lines and margins.

On conversion to an order, materials requirements are produced, and these can be linked into other RTIS modules such as Purchasing. Likewise, factory tracking and scheduling, live stock control, fault logging and dispatch modules can all be integrated to give a full picture of an Order as it progresses through the factory.

Central to the quote/order is the specification of the product; below is shown example software for door and window manufacturers designed to specify and price bespoke manufacture of joinery and PVC products. These are ideally suited to manufacturers of both specials and catalogue items with various options, and obviously standard orders can be templated as a repeatable special. This software can be easily adapted to handle similar products normally made by firms in the sector, such as conservatories, staircases, etc.

Since your pricing and specifying policies and options are unlikely to be identical to your competitors, any solution we provide for you will be a one off, based on us understanding your business in some detail.
