Survey Publisher is a little bit different from our normal solutions, in that it is a single-user desktop product. Currently in its beta-tesing phase, it will retail for about £100.

Survey Publisher can help you design questionnaires, print them or publish them to the web, capture the responses and then analyse and report on the data. It does this by creating a database as you design what can be relatively complex types of questions. If you want to do a web-based survey, then we will host the survey on our server. You then download your data into the software.

	The design interface is a bit like using a word processor, yet as you lay the questions out a database is created in the background to enable later analysis
	Different reports can be generated by cross analysing questions, either from all data or just previously selected data. Reports can be stored for later use.
	Once the data has been input or downloaded, it can be sorted and queried in a list management interface.
	Various charts are available, and these can be printed, or exported as word, Excel or PDF.

The typical user of this software is one who is doing paper-based or online surveys, is getting lots of responses and is then wondering how to make summarising and cross analysing it all. It is not really designed for high end statistical analysis and it does not do linguistic analysis of comment responses. Rather it is designed for users who have surveys to do and would be happy using software to make it easier.
